2× rule — professional flippers require PSA 10 net proceeds to be at least 2× all-in cost. Deals that fail this gate rarely pencil out even with a perfect grade.

Blended EV — because you don't know if it'll grade a 10 or a 9, expected value blends both outcomes: (odds × PSA 10 net) + ((1 − odds) × PSA 9 net).

Break-even PSA 10 — the minimum price you'd need to sell the PSA 10 for to cover all your costs, assuming the fallback grade is PSA 9.
